The Redmi K30 has been launched in China. The  new Redmi phone offers support for 5G and comes with a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 rear sensor


Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi has launched three more products : a Redmi AC2100 Router, a RedmiBook 13 laptop, and a Redmi smart speaker .

The Redmi K30 is a successor to the Redmi K20 phone which was launched in India  in the month of July. The new Redmi supports 5G and comes with 64 megapixel Sony IMX686 rear sensor.

The Redmi K30 is available in two variants - one powered with the snapdragon 730G and support 4G networks only whereas the other come with Snapdragon 76G and it will support 5G networks. Another highlight is the camera where Redmi will debut Sony's 64 megapixel as the phone's main camera. The smartphone ships with Android 10 with MIUI 11 out of the box.

You get a 20-megapixel front-facing camera which has AI features . Redmi has also added a 2-megapixel depth sensor on the front. The smartphone also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as well as a USB type C support  

It has a 6.67 -inch LCD display with thin bezels, a cutout for dual selfie cameras and, wait for it -120Hx refresh rate. Redmi is also expected to offer the phone with 30W fast charging.Xiaomi would reportedly price the base variant for Yuan 2,399 (arund Rs 23,500) .

RedmiBook 13 laptop is priced at 4,199 Yuan which is about 12,300 in India. The Redmi Smart Speaker is priced at 79 Yuan, which is around Rs 790 in India. the RedmiAC2100 router comes with a label of 169 Yuan which is around Rs1700.
